The Vega Science Trust, Sussex, UK

The Vega Science Trust is a charity organization developed to provide a platform from which scientists can communicate directly with the public, via television and the Internet. Since its conception, Vega has produced more than 100 TV programmes, over half of which have been broadcast on the BBC.

It has developed the first European on-line science TV channel, allowing free-to-view video streaming of science programmes directly over the Internet. Vega actively campaigns for improved informed coverage in the European media of scientific and technical issues, and their importance culturally, politically and socially for the populations of Europe.

In this project, with the collaboration of the seven other partners, Vega will be in charge of the Science dissemination activities. Within this role, Vega will work with Goldwyn Productions.
