Sensotran is a small company with more than 30 years expertise in gas detection. It develops and fabricates detectors and systems for toxic gases, inflammable gases and oxygen. It has experience with metal oxide, electrochemical, IR, FID and PID detectors.
Sensotran develops its equipment using of-the-shelf sensors, designing the electronics for sensor conditioning, sensor readout, data logging and communications; it developed detectors for volatile organic compounds and has also experience in portable multi-gas and single gas detectors.
The company has a good knowledge about the market demands in low-cost, small (wearable) and reliable detectors for benzene, with some experience with nerve agents such as Sarin and Yperite.
In the project Sensotran will identify user's needs and set the sensor specifications. SENSOTRAN and the Tarragone group will test the nano2hybrids-based-gas sensor in the field, being also in charge of the final validation of the new developed device.
